This is a complete trip from southern Peru, where we will appreciate the best.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrived in Lima.

Arrive at Lima and private transfer to your hotel. Transfer assistance included.

In a brief and tailored information event, you will receive all relevant information about your travel in Peru.

Day 2: Lima City Tour

This morning, we spend the time on a tour of Lima, "City of Kings", the Colonial city gets a firsthand glimpse of its majestic past. We visit sites such as the Cathedral and Presidential Palace overlooking the Plaza de Armas, and San Francisco Convent. We get to see, first hand, Lima's magnificent Colonial architecture as well as vignettes of its pre-Colombian past. In the afternoon, you have free time and can walk to places around your hotel or visit Miraflores district.

Day 3: Travel Day Lima ? Arequipa.

We will pick you at the hotel and Transfer to Lima Airport. Flight Lima to Arequipa in the morning. (not included), book by yourself. On your arrival, you will be transferred by our representative from the Arequipa airport to your hotel. In the Afternoon, you can walk to Arequipa downtown.

Day 4: Arequipa to Colca Canyon.

This morning we leave Arequipa and cross the snow-capped Misti, Chachani and the Ampato Volcanoes to arrive at the Colca Canyon. The canyon, thought to be twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, is home to a large population of Andean Condors which float majestically on the rising thermals as they scan the canyon below. Continuing our journey into the Andes, we pass the villages of Torja, Chucura, Patapampa, with their Colonial churches and Inca terracing. In the afternoon, we visit the sleepy town of Chivay where you may choose to enjoy the La Calera thermo-medicinal baths. (entrance not included).

Day 5: Colca Canyon to Puno.

After this fantastic spectacle, two hours, we continue our journey passing through some?villages and taking in the beautiful Andean scenery and fascinating pre-Inca, Inca and Colonial history of the area. We take a special bus to Puno. We see beautiful scenery?in the rout, high pass, 5 hours approximately. In the evening we reach Puno, situated on the shores of the famous Lake Titicaca. On arrival, you will be transferred from the Puno bus station to your hotel.

Day 6: Uros Floating Island of Taquile Traditional.

Traveling by traditional vessel, we begin by visiting the floating islands of Uros, where the friendly locals continue to practice their traditional way of life, living by fishing. Situated four kilometers from Puno, the original inhabitants of these floating islands are said to descend from one of the most ancient peoples of the Americas. On our way back to Puno we stop at Taquile Island a place where time appears to have stood still. Around 350 Quechua-speaking families live here, operating a collective agricultural system dating from the 14th Century and renowned for their textiles - beautifully woven chumpis (belts), chullos (caps), and ojotas (sandals).

Day 7: Travel Day Puno Bus to Cusco.

We pick you up at the hotel and transfer to the bus?station for the outward journey from Cusco. After breakfast, you will drive across the Altiplano to Cusco. This drive will take us through sleepy Andean villages, past spectacular snow-capped mountains, sheer cliffs, and rampaging rivers. Stops along the way include the atmospheric towns of Pucara, the pre-Inca ruin of Raqchi, lunch in Sicuani town and Andahuaylillas. We arrive in the famous city of Cusco in the early evening. Includes lunch, entrance feet. Our assistant waits for you and transfers to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 8: Cusco City Tour.

Enjoy a sightseeing tour through Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire. We visit the fascinating Koricancha Temple of the Sun, the Cathedral, built on the ruins of an Inca Palace. From here we head to the archaeological remains located around the city, including the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo the giant rock, the ancient site of Puca Pucara and finally the Water Temple of Tambomachay.

Day 9: Sacred Valley Full Day Tour - Train to Machupicchu Town.

Today, we explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This fertile river valley was home to many important sites for the Incas, both strategic and religious. Our first stop is the village of Pisac, with its famous market, where you can pick up a bargain! You have free time to wander the colorful market stalls before we have a typical Andean lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba Town. (included) We then continued our journey along the River Urubamba, to Ollantaytambo, the best surviving example of Inca town planning and dominated by a giant Inca fortress, which was the scene of a rare victory for the Incas against the invading Spanish Conquistadors. Your journey today on the?Tourist train will be a ride you will never forget. This modern train has been built with panoramic windows to ensure you enjoy unspoiled views as you make your way through the spectacular Andes mountain range to the renowned Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Arrive at Aguas Calientes town and transfer to hotel. Following breakfast, we head to the ?Cruz del Condor?,? a spot considered to be the best viewpoint to watch the majestical Condors ascending from the valley on the early morning thermals. An hour an a half driving approximately.

Day 10: Machu Picchu Guided Tour - Train back to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cusco.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel to take a bus up to Machupicchu, and we reach this wonder of the world. Here the ?Lost City of the Incas?. Our tour guide goes with you and explores the place for approximately two hours and a half. We visit the most famous monuments such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries. You descend by bus to the small town Aguas Calientes, to take a train and bus to Cusco. Please be aware that your tour of Machu Picchu does not include an entry permit to Huayna Picchu (the iconic hill behind the Machu Picchu ruins). If you want to climb Huaynapicchu, then you need to pre-book your consent. Please contact if you would like to do this.

Day 11: Travel Day Cusco ? Puerto Maldonado Refugio Amazonas Day 1.

Transfer to the airport for your outward flight from Cusco. You will be met at Puerto Maldonado Airport to transfer by land and a two and a half hour boat journey to Refugio Amazonas. Pass the Infierno Community and arrive into the Tambopata National Reserve, a 1.3 million hectare conservation unit. From Refugio, venture out at night, on the search for caiman, spotting the red reflection from their eyes.

Day 12: Puerto Maldonado Refugio Amazonas Day 2.

After breakfast venture out onto the lake by canoe or catamaran, looking for wildlife such as hoatzin, caiman, horned screamers, macaws and rare otters. Back on land, a thirty-minute walk from the lodge will take you to the 25-meter scaffolding canopy tower, complete with staircase. Enjoy excellent views from the treetops, sighting toucans, macaws, and raptors. After lunch, you will visit a farm to learn about local agriculture and Amazonian crops before an ethnobotanical tour to learn about therapeutic procedures of the region. In the evening, Refugio staff offer lectures covering conservation threats, opportunities, and projects in the Tambopata National Reserve.

Day 13: Puerto Maldonado Refugio Amazonas Day 3.

Witness the audio and visual spectacle of a clay lick, watching vibrant colored macaws and parrots feast on clay. Later, a short hike will bring you to a beautiful brazil nut forest where you can learn about the whole nut process from collection through transportation to drying. In the afternoon, there will be a further clay lick visit, this time to see mammals. Wild rain forest pigs show up in herds of up to twenty to eat clay, alongside deer, guan, and parakeets. After dinner, you have the option of a night hike when most mammals are active.

Day 14: Puerto Maldonado Refugio Amazonas Day 4 - Trip to Lima

After breakfast, return to Puerto Maldonado for your departure flight. Depending on airline schedules, this may require dawn departures. Flight Puerto Maldonado to Lima. (not included) Arrive at Lima and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: Travel Day Lima to home

Transfer Hotel to the airport in Lima End our service.
